Taking Stock 2

“My path has not been determined. I shall have more experiences and pass many more milestones,” Agnetha Faltskog

Good morning! I think this is the first Monday in a while I woke up the first time my alarm went off. Anyone else who snoozes for almost 30 minutes? *Cringes, so you set your alarm 30 minutes earlier, anyone? My weekend was very chilled and I was able to relax, I suppose that’s why I woke up on time. Today marks the 6 months since I started blogging, I remember the fashion blogger Shawn Osimbo telling me how in that period of time I will have seen a lot of growth and learned a bunch, she wasn’t lying. It’s not easy but very much fun and you learn how to deal with curve balls like photographer’s delaying with certain pictures so you inevitably change your content calendar, location, location, location argh! Frustrating at times but when you find it, best feeling ever. What I love most about blogging is that I get to see my ideas and thoughts materialise, I get to interact with many different people and I continue to learn a lot about myself as an individual. So I saw it fit to do my second stock today, looking back from where I started, I hope you enjoy because I too enjoy other bloggers taking stock nice way to get closer to you 🙂 .

Making: Tea & cocoa more often, damn this weather, loving and hating it at the same time. I mean my toes freeze so bad my imagination starts running wild thinking about frostbite, haha.

Cooking: Nothing much I kinda lost my touch somewhere, I think I need proper inspiration, trying something different. I guess what I know has become a bit boring.

Drinking: Warm water. It’s a habit I formed long ago, it really does wonders. Drink a mug of warm water first thing when you wake up every morning. Thank me later.

Reading: Haha, this is a joke people. A joke on me, I have slacked. My job has me so caught up, but that’s no excuse. Just remembered I made a wager with a friend to re-read my Harry Potter books, yeah I know nerd alert but over 450 million people can’t get one thing wrong. JK made my childhood magical. I’m open to suggestions.

Wasting: No time planning for my shoots for content until October. Tall order, but not impossible!

Wishing: I could get a vacation. We are barely through half of the year and I feel exhausted. Am I I alone on this feeling? The year is going so fast yet not fast enough.

Watching: King of the Hill. You know me and animations for the mature audience. I kept hearing many other animations and comedy series give reference to it but never bothered and until recently. It’s refreshingly different.

Smelling: Cocoa, the cold is too real.

Needing: New heels in my life*sigh I believe you ladies get me. Maybe Santa can come early this year?

Wearing: My soft red robe adorned with cute little brown pups. Love this robe jacked it from my sister years ago.

Feeling: Great about this Monday morning, as freezing as it is 🙂

Loving: The fact am healthy as a horse! especially in these conditions, very easy to catch that bug the common cold or worse the flu.

Noticing: I’m more laid back nowadays, small things used to really wind me up.

Grateful: That my blog is 6 months and still have so many plans for growth and content. Wuhuuu!

Wondering: How the last half of my year will look, praying for all good things and blessings.

Keep Smiling 🙂
